R4 has been appointed to deliver the out-of-home activation supporting Six Nations Fantasy, ahead of the 2026 Championship.
The appointment follows a brief focused on building sustained momentum for Fantasy — a product designed to turn rugby interest into daily participation, decision-making and debate throughout the tournament window.
Given the scale and stature of the Six Nations brand, the activation was approached as a live operational responsibility rather than a conventional media booking exercise.
To ensure activity was delivering exactly as intended, the R4 team travelled in person to key European markets, including London, Paris, Rome and Dublin, visiting live locations to verify delivery on the ground.
This hands-on approach allowed the team to confirm that formats were live and operational, creative was playing correctly, and environments matched the intent of the plan — not just on paper, but in the real world where fans encounter the brand.
Six Nations Fantasy is built around behaviour rather than moments. Fans engage repeatedly across the week: selecting squads, making transfers, tracking statistics and debating decisions between fixtures. The activation strategy reflected this reality, prioritising repeated, contextual presence over one-off visibility.
Media environments were selected to align with everyday fan behaviour—commuting, socialising, eating out, and moving through cities—ensuring Fantasy felt naturally embedded in the rhythm of the Championship build-up rather than overlaid as a promotional message.
Working with one of sport’s most recognisable properties represents a meaningful step for R4, reinforcing the agency’s ability to operate confidently across multiple markets and deliver high-profile activations with precision and accountability.
With Fantasy now live, attention turns to the Championship itself and the landmark formats that define the Six Nations on matchday.
For R4, the project reinforces a simple principle: when the brand matters, execution has to matter just as much.
